Hi! My name is Selena Winther and I am a Canadian Design student from Fanshawe College! I'm in my first year of Graphic Design at Fanshawe. I specialize in traditional art, specifically watercolour, pencil and ink drawings. I also have experience using various Adobe and other softwares. I love to make art and especially love to make it for my friends and family.
I grew up in the small town of Strathroy Ontario and I am bilingual in both the English and French language. I've been doing art since I can remember. When I was little I used to watch the popular children's show Art Attack and dreamed of becoming an artist. My goal is to work within graphic design or media design because a career in design is unpredictable and exciting because it can give you experiences you wouldn’t expect. One day you could see your work on billboards or magazine covers and it could also be changing someone's life. You could make a difference around you and with the world changing all the time we need good designers to support that. Behind every good idea is a designer and designers make the world go round. I think that is such a cool and unique job to have. I'd love to gain experience through Co-Ops in the Summer while I'm off from school! |
